About Daniel Fulop-Furlano

A man with glasses and a beard takes a selfie on a rooftop with a cityscape view, including the Capitol Records building and plants in the background.

Daniel Fulop-Furlano is a longtime executive in the professional audio industry, where he helped shape how musicians record, create, and share their work. He writes about emotional sobriety, trauma, and the everyday patterns that push people toward burnout and, sometimes, toward clarity.

His perspective comes from the early years of his own recovery, combined with decades spent inside a culture that celebrates productivity while overlooking the emotional life underneath. Before that, Daniel worked his way up from the manufacturing floor of a high-end audio company to the executive team, all while wrestling with the patterns he explores in this book.
